As part of our topic we have been looking at the history of light through time. We have found out that people used sundials before they had watches, and we have made our own sundials and tested them out. Luckily we had a sunny day and they were a great success!
In Literacy, we have been studying instructions. We have listened to and followed different instructions, and we have written our own instructions for hand washing which we tested on each other.
In Health Science, we have been learning about how bacteria spread. We have learned that we can spread bacteria with our hands, and that we can help to prevent this by washing our hands. We have learned that bacteria spread through sneezing; and we carried out an experiment to measure how for droplets travel when we sneeze, and when we catch them in a tissue.
