Drama at Beaumont College
On Thursday mornings a group of F.E students visit Beaumont College. Here they take part in drama sessions alongside students from Beaumont. Each term the pupils explore a new theme in which they are able to express their ideas through their drama pieces. They also help each other by setting up props and equipment.
At the end of each term the students participate in a drama production with their Beaumont peers. This past year they teamed up with students from Beaumont College and Tor View School. They worked hard on the production, The King, The Crow and The Girl. This culminated in a performance which had fantastic reviews from the local newspaper and all who watched it.
This is particularly gratifying as it demonstrates not only their hard work but also leaves the students with a real sense of achievement. The drama collaboration has proved to be an enjoyable experience for all involved and many new friends have been made.
