Creative Partnership.....
We have been delighted to welcome two resident artists who have been working with Secondary & FE pupils on an extended music and visual arts project. Andy Whitfield and students have been composing and recording music about their world, while Anna Read and pupils have produced fantastic collage work. We hope to showcase our Creative Partnership work very soon.

Sponsored Hula Hoop Day
In March, the school went hula-hooping crazy. For six hours the hula hoops were kept spinning in the hall by a rota of pupils, parents and staff.
Parents in particular were very enthusiastic and happy to show off their skills to an accompaniment of sixties tunes.
Many of the children in Smart Start and Primary enjoyed exploring the two metre diameter multi sensory hoop and the spinning glittery hoops, whilst the older students were more than happy to have a go at hula-hooping around their arms, necks and waists.
We hope that this fun and active day will bring in sponsor money towards the Hydrotherapy Pool.
