So far this year we have settled back into school routine. We have been enjoying spending a lot of time in our new swimming pool and have worked really hard in our hydrotherapy and water confidence sessions.
In class we have been investigating toys. We have looked at dolls, teddies, musical, light up and switch toys. We have made kites and wind toys and have been flying them on a windy day. We have visited play areas both at school and in the park, where we enjoyed going on the swings , slide and round-a-bout.
Our out and abouts to local toyshops have been a lot of fun as we played with the toys set out for us by the friendly staff. We have made dolls, cars and various other toys which are now on display in our class toyshop.
Our stories have been about toys e.g. Kipper's Toybox and Andrew's bath. It was fun to share our favourite toys from home and learn how to take care of them and tidy them away!
