Our pupils who have a wide range of learning difficulties, including autism, complex medical needs and sensory impairments. Parents of students wishing to join the FE Centre (post 16 provision) should ensure that this is documented in the Year 10 and Year 11 Annual Review of the EHCP.

As a local authority maintained special school, we are governed by the admission arrangements specified by Lancashire County Council and places are offered from the SEN team. Please contact the local authority Special Educational Needs Department (SEND) on 01524 581142 for more information. If support is required regarding admissions, please contact the Education Office to request the support from the SEND Information Advice and Support Service.

If places are available, admissions can take place at any time throughout the school year and once a place is offered, and wherever possible, transition is carefully planned, to ensure a comfortable and smooth start at the Loyne.
