FE Curriculum Intent
The intention of the curriculum within the FE Centre is to support students to make a smooth transition into the adult world that awaits them beyond their time at school.
The curriculum is underpinned by the development of lifelong skills whilst maintaining an unambiguous focus on promoting the rights, choices and responsibilities available to students in this age range.
The journey through the FE Centre mirrors the vision of the Preparing for Adulthood programme whose vision is that young people with SEND should have equal life chances as they move into adulthood to include:
- Employment
- Independent Living
- Friends, Relationships & Community Inclusion
- Good Health
