Governor – David Stevens

I was delighted to join the school as a co-opted governor in March 2018.

I recently retired back to Kendal, after a varied business career as a chartered accountant, Finance Director, business owner and freelance consultant. Most recently, I was Finance Director and then Chief Executive of a dementia care charity in Newcastle, so I am very familiar with the financial pressures faced by publicly funded services.

I have joined the Personnel, Buildings and Finance Committee and am looking forward to supporting my fellow governors and the school’s management team to provide outstanding governance and challenge in the area of finance and fund raising.
