Jill Snow
I have been a Governor for over 30 years, mainly in primary schools in Dudley, West Midlands. Having semi-retired in 2018 from a senior management position in Local Government, I now work part time from home. In my work I had links with schools through working in HR, as Head of Payroll and Pensions and also as a Clerk to Governors.
I relocated to Morecambe with my husband and a foster dog in July 2021, and started to look for a school where I could put my experience as a Governor to use. I also believe that it is valuable to put something back into my local community. I was drawn to the school as I wholly support the ethos of “working together, valuing achievement”.
The most important thing to me is that every child is given the education they deserve, and that staff are supported in being able to deliver this. I look forward to learning more about the school and contributing to the invaluable work that already takes place every day.
