As a specialist school, we are able to provide advice and guidance on equipment and resources which may support learners with SEND. We have a range of resources which we can lend out to schools for a short term period including switches, Boardmaker, sensory and weighted therapy equipment and many Specialist books such as ‘Talk About’ Programmes.
We also have ready-made resource packs that will assist staff in delivering group work and one to one sessions for pupils with additional needs.
Talk Together
This is a teaching pack with all resources and plans for a TA to deliver 15 weeks intensive speaking and listening course to small groups of Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils. Talk Together aids listening and attention skills and models good oral language. This easy to follow programme is based on First Steps and Talking Partners scheme.
