I am a working mum of 2 children, the youngest being a pupil of the Loyne Specialist School. Since February 2016 I have also taken an active role within the school as Chair of the Friends committee. I am delighted to have been elected as parent Governor (December 2016) and have found the Governing board very welcoming and inspiring. I am on the Buildings Personnel and Finance Committee and in my role as Governor I have enjoyed having a presence within school, judging a cake bake off and attending chill n chat sessions.
I have worked for North West Ambulance Service for 13 years to which I thoroughly enjoy. Over the years as a Paramedic I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge that I can transfer to being a very proactive Governor.
My spare time is spent with my family, mostly outdoors. I also enjoy running, going to the gym, baking and very dedicated to raising money for charities close to my heart. A great achievement of mine was completing the Great North Run in 2016.
