Support & guidance for individual pupils with SEN
At the Loyne Specialist School we are committed to supporting our local schools in meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). We have developed a dynamic and comprehensive approach to school to school support which enables mainstream settings to gain support in various ways either through individual pupil advice or training.
We have a number of experienced classroom practitioners who can provide support for staff in mainstream settings in a number of ways,
- Pupil observations
- Verbal / written advice
- Advice on specialist teaching strategies
- Specialist teacher / HLTA support
We do need to charge for training and you can find more information about what we can provide in our brochure.
If you would like to request support for a pupil, please either complete the online referral form or download it and return to ‘School to School Support, Loyne Specialist School, Sefton Drive, Lancaster, LA1 2QD. On receipt of a request for support, you will be contacted by a member of our outreach team to organise an initial meeting to clarify the type and amount of support required.
