We are excited to announce that we have been awarded the ‘Bronze: Rights Committed’ Rights Respecting Schools Award.

We have been working incredibly hard with not only pupils and students, but also staff and Governors, ensuring the ‘UN Convention on the Rights of a Child’ are taught and embedded in the holistic curriculum we deliver, everyday.

David Elliott, one of our Governors, wrote to congratulate us. He said “My congratulations too but I am not surprised! I was in awe of Jessica and her team last Friday as they teased out ideas from our enthusiastic audience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Education at its best!! Well done everybody and most importantly our wonderful students.”

Many thanks to David who not only represents the Governors at our termly Right’s Group meetings, but also supports the learning of our pupils and students around what their rights are, and how they can access these.
