Listen to a Story

Two sisters are looking for a lion-a lion that lives on the African savanna. The girls go through swishy swashy long grass, a splishy splashy lake, and a big dark cave. When they finally meet their lion, they have to run, run, run through it all again to get back home.

Monkey is lost in the jungle, so he asks Butterfly to help him find his mum. However, Butterfly cannot seem to understand that Monkey and his mum look alike, so attempts to reunite Monkey with an elephant, a parrot and even a bat!

Even the bravest of the brave and the coolest of the cool worry. Worrying is normal when so much has changed. ‘Everybody Worries’ is a lovely story with a calm, reassuring message.

This is a book about a tiny ladybird who never said a word. But the ladybird saw, And the ladybird heard. This tiny ladybird has a big plan to save the prize cow! A book by Julia Donaldson.

This is a story you all THINK you may know about ‘The Three Little Pigs’. But every story has two sides and this is the TRUE story as told by Alexander T. Wolf to Jon Scieszka who wrote it down for him.

This is a story about a little mouse who loves red ripe strawberries but so does the big hungry bear! A book by Don and Audrey Wood

A classic children’s story of three goats who have eaten all the grass in their field and want to travel to the bigger meadow on the other side of a bridge. But beware… the bridge is home to a bad-tempered troll who threatens to eat anyone attempting to cross it!

Max was such a cute boy, until he learnt the word ‘NO!’
It’s a NO! to getting dressed.
It’s a NO! to having a bath.
It’s even a NO! to eating cake.

Then Mum has a bright idea. The question is, will it work?
Watch the story to find out…

Here is one of my favourite stories ‘ Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak.
