My name is Susan Campbell and I am the head teacher of The Loyne Specialist School. I was appointed to my post in September 2015 and am greatly enjoying the challenge of leading this outstanding school forwards.
I have over 20 years’ experience within Lancashire schools having worked in primary, secondary and the special school sectors. I have also worked for the Local Authority within the SEND team.
Over the years I am fortunate to have been provided with many opportunities to develop my expertise and knowledge and I am keen to ensure all staff have access to high quality professional development, firstly to meet the needs of our pupils and secondly, to ensure they have exciting and fulfilling careers within the education sector.
I am very proud of the excellent work our staff do on a daily basis and that they are supported to achieve these high standards by a committed Governing Body.
Our pupils and families are our inspiration to ensure we remain ambitious for what we can achieve together.
