In December the school welcomed Jean Barlow to undertake the verification for the Wellbeing Award. We are pleased to announce that we achieved this award.
As a school, we place a great deal of importance upon the positive emotional and mental health of all our stakeholders.
The award has been developed in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau and has allowed us as school to demonstrate the good practise we follow putting Emotional Health and Wellbeing central to all that we do. The report shared,
“The strength is the whole-school approach adopted to promote Emotional and Mental Health and Wellbeing, for all pupils, staff, parent/carers and governors actively participating and engaged in the processes”.
“Loyne School is an inspiring school where children with complex needs feel happy, valued and make progress. The approach to EMHWB builds confidence, personal -autonomy and growing independence and reassurance for life after school”.
We are only the second school in Lancashire to achieve this award. Well done to all involved, what a great achievement this is!
